Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product application design, construction, systems integration and production support.
- Organize, align, lead, and evolve hardware development initiatives.
- Lead the development of technology architecture plans and implementation of changes.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and product management teams to understand and validate hardware requirements.
- Define and refine the hardware development processes and partner with quality assurance, including standards for specifications, quality levels, implementation phases, milestones, and release procedures.
- Manage all electromechanical firmware development.
- Partner with appropriate stakeholders in continuous technical improvements.
- Create, maintain and deliver product technical trainings.
- Lead complex failure analyses to identify root causes and provide technical solutions.



Job Requirements:

Skills & Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in complex hardware electromechanical systems including development, quality assurance, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale products.
- 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering including extensive interaction with firmware, software and/or electrical and mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years in motion control firmware development using C and Assembly.
- Strong management skills required, including the ability to build a team and manage cross-functional task forces.
- Broad and deep technical knowledge of complex electro-mechanical system development.
- Knowledgeable in reliability testing.
- Ability to design with DFx in mind.
- Understanding of general quality assurance practices.
- Strong and effective troubleshooting and providing conclusive failure analysis.
- Demonstrate ability to understand and rapidly apply new technologies to solve business requirement.
- Strong ability to affect change through process improvement.
- Demonstrate strong project management capabilities.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Experience with the design and manufacturing of consumer, industrial, or commercial products is preferred.
- Experience working with kiosk-related products is preferred.
- PIC processor experience is preferred.
