Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Sr. Level Systems Engineer to become part of the Training Systems team in St. Louis, Missouri supporting the new development on the MH 139A Grey Wolf helicopter. This new helicopter will replace the Legacy UH-1N Huey Helicopter and perform the following national security missions:

  • Intercontinental ballistic Missile (ICBM) Emergency Security Response Mission
  • ICBM Convoy Escort Mission
  • Continuity of Operations (COOP)/Transport Mission

The chosen candidate will lead the training system technical team in the design and development of five unique Aircrew Training Devices (ATD) configurations that will be used to prepare the USAF aircrew to meet these critical missions. The candidate will work with the technical counterparts in the USAF Training System IPT, the Boeing Air Vehicle and Sustainment teams along with key suppliers to produce the ATDs.

Working these military platforms positions require you to have the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

You are:
(Required Education, Skills and Experience)

  • Listener: You're an engineer whose passion for simulation systems means you never lose sight of the person who will ultimately be using the product that you build. You make the customer priorities your own.
  • Educated and experienced: You have a degree in an engineering or equivalent work experience and 10 or more years of experience working on hardware/software based development projects.
  • Innovator: You are actively exploring new technology because you are genuinely motivated to learn and grow as an engineer. Thus, you will either have experience in some of this stuff, or you'll be hungry to get experience in our stack, which is built on: Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Product Line Engineering (PLE) techniques, digital thread and Agile development frameworks. Hardware solutions are based on a mixture of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and uniquely developed components.
  • Collaborator: You are a consummate team player, working well with others (External Suppliers, Internal Cross-Functional Teams, and Common Core Functional Teams) toward a common goal including System Design, Interface Definitions, System & Sub-Tier Requirements Definitions, Product Installation & Integration, Requirements Demonstration & Verification, Customer Product Validation and End-Item Acceptance Coordination. This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel (20%) may be required in support of the program and customer.

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
