Meet our professionals CGI: An employer of choice Position Description: The TRADOC G-2 Operational Environment Center (OEC) replicates the complexities of the Operational Environment (OE) by leveraging real world data, information, and knowledge in order to enable learning across all TRADOC Lines of Operation. It does this through a set of dynamic, integrated analytical processes, information technologies, knowledge management networks, and tailored delivery applications. It harnesses the power of technology to drive live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVCG) environments to accurately replicate the OE. The Attack the Network Training Directorate provides Attack the Network (AtN) training and Advanced Network Analysis and Targeting (ANAT) training to training audiences throughout the Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) community. AtN training emphasizes integrating staff skills to gain understanding of the human domain in order to plan engagement actions and operations that shape the OE for mission success. ANAT training emphasizes rapid identification of key nodes in human networks using social network analysis (SNA) tools and methods in order to achieve desired effects in the OE. Your future duties and responsibilities: The AtN Trainer supports the AtN Training Directorate by accomplishing the following: 1. Gain and maintain the ability to provide AtN and ANAT training and the ability to train others to become instructors of AtN and ANAT. 2. Assist in maximizing the quality of AtN and ANAT training programs and products by: a. Continually studying AtN/ANAT-related documents and publications, and integrating appropriate concepts and information into training material. b. Continually working with others to integrate the best available methodologies, software tools, lessons learned, and practical exercises. c. Continually assessing feedback from training audience and using it to further develop professional skills and to advise the Senior Trainer and Director of AtN Training on recommended adjustments to further enhance training. 3. Assist with developing training and methods to further integrate analytical techniques that complement social network analysis, such as link analysis, social media analysis (SMA), and center of gravity (COG) analysis. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Active TS/SCI security clearance required. * At least 5 years of military experience or academic / agency experience in a social network analysis role required. * Master Training Specialist (or service equivalent) preferred. * Relevant experience supporting deployed ground forces at Battalion or higher level, or Service equivalent preferred. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Word, and Excel) required; proficiency with Analyst Notebook or other link analysis software preferred; proficiency with social network analysis software (ORA, PAJEK etc) preferred. * Bachelor's Degree preferred. * Willingness and ability to travel extensively (40%) is required. * Valid passport required. #clearedcareers #CGIFederalJob What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
