Meet our professionals CGI: A place to build an IT career Position Description: Seeking a Systems Architect-Intermediate to support Information Technology (IT) initiatives in healthcare and federal grants arena. The initiatives include Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to enable organizations to operate and maintain enterprise systems in response to various legislative, policy, management, and technology changes. The outcomes enable the organization to strengthen its program management and operations in support of its mission to improve and achieve health equity. Your future duties and responsibilities: * Implement business requirements using object-oriented design and development strategies and patterns. * Support and serve as a technical expert for enterprise applications in all stages of development, testing, and production. Ability to lead end-to-end implementations. * Effectively troubleshoot application bugs and analyze applications for potential failures. * Create and maintain application support documentation (formal design and architecture documents, code comments) as required. * Partner with Project Management, Business Systems Analyst and Product Management teams in analysis of business needs to decide the best course of action. * Code review for development team members. Analyze data requirements and develop data models. * Set standards to ensure proper design, coding, and unit testing practices are implemented and followed. * Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Minimum 3 years of experience developing enterprise, full lifecycle solutions using .NET and relational databases * Strong experience with building end-to-end web applications and web API on the , Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server platform and other databases * Demonstrated ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, recommend solid technical solutions, and lead in delivering the solution * Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and relentless attention to detail * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts (SME) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS List items desired for the Candidate, but not required. * MCSA, MCSE or equivalent industry certifications are desired #CGIFederalJob Skills: * .NET * ASP.NET * MVC * RDBMS Concepts * SQL Server What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
