As an Analytical Development Engineer at Henkel, you will be developing new test methods for thermal interface materials, and become part of a growing R&D team at a fortune global 500 company that pushes boundaries of thermal management in electronic devices and enable new electric vehicles, 5G telecommunications and next generation electronics.
Design and build the following: Prototypes for proof of concept, .Experimental set up with integrated measurement systems and Test parts / fixturing for customized studies.
Scout for new characterization techniques to expand laboratory capabilities.
Lead competitive product analysis and idea generation to differentiate Henkel products.
Find and implement innovative uses for analytical equipment.
Assess current test methods, identify gaps and improve
Minimum of an associate degree required. Prefer a Bachelors or higher in Materials Science, Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Physics or a Computer Science
Prior experience research and development laboratory setting is required
Experience in test apparatus and fabrication of research equipment prototypes for material characterization required.
Experience with engineering software for test automation, measurement and instrument control.
Familiarity with engineering software packages, data acquisition, analysis and signal processing, embedded system design and statistical analysis.
