JLL is offering a unique engineering apprentice position to provide motivated individuals with training and the ability to evaluate different types of engineering work environments for approximately 12 18 months; with an opportunity for full time follow on employment at the conclusion of the program. The individual will spend approximately 4 6 months in each of the following disciplines:
Static Operating Engineer - An employee in this position works under the supervision of a Operating or Chief Engineer performing a variety of work in the operation, repair, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other related work as required in large administrative facilities. The employee will be provided a training program to understand the basic requirements to operate, maintain and repair and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, electrical, air- conditioning refrigeration, plumbing, as well as a working knowledge of all other skill areas.
Mobile engineer An employee in this position works under the supervision of a Mobile Engineer or Operations Manager performing a variety of work in the operation, repair, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other related work as required in retail facilities within a small geographic area.
Engineering Center of Excellence An employee in this position will work under the direct supervision of an engineer supporting Energy and Sustainability Initiatives, Project Management, Governance and Compliance.
