Description LEAD SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (APG EAGLE-20-0238-F):



Bowhead seeks a Lead Supply Technician to join our team in support of the Supply Division at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Aberdeen, MD. The Lead Supply Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks supporting many departments operations and tasks will

include performing technical supply management, cataloging items and completing inventory and storage management. The Lead Supply Technician supervises work of others and ensures duties are accomplished as described in accordance with DoD logistic procedures,

standard operating procedures, and applicable local regulatory requirements.



Essential functions will include:



? Supervising work of other Supply Technicians

? Performing technical supply management work related to depot, local or other supply activities

? Performing inventory and storage management as well as cataloging items

? Using knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods and methods and manuals to complete assignments

? Using analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved

? Collecting necessary data to establish factors or recommend action based on application or interpretation of established guidelines

? Performing other related work as assigned









Requirements ? A high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least four (4+) years' of experience in a clerical and data entry position

? Prior supervisory experience is preferred

? Any prior experience with government contracts and locations is helpful

? Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

? Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

? Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team



SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
